"Support got me sorted quickly"
I had a login issue after switching phones and couldn’t get the app working like it should. Support got back to me faster than I figured they would and walked me through it in a way that was easy enough to follow. It only took around 10 minutes or so, maybe a little less. Definitely appreciated getting help from an actual person instead of a bunch of copy-paste replies.
"I didn’t get much time to test..."
I didn’t get much time to test it because I’ve been busy with work, but when I finally played a few matches, the ping stayed low and I didn’t notice any lag.

"Be upfront about the real speeds"
I wish they would just share the actual speed people can expect before you sign up. It’s frustrating when companies highlight big numbers but don’t make the real-world experience clear. If the speed is good, great—say that. If it varies, be honest about it. Customers deserve transparency, and it feels wrong to make people guess before they spend their money.
"Works on pretty much all my devices"
I’ve tried it on a few different devices now, and it seems to work fine on all of them. Setup was easy enough, and I haven’t really had any issues so far...

"I’ve been using CyberGhost for a bit..."
I’ve been using CyberGhost for a bit now and the connection has been solid. It connects fast and I don’t have to keep switching it off and back on which used to drive me crazy with other VPNs I tried.
Even when I’m on not so great wifi it usually stays connected and doesn’t randomly drop. That was really the main thing I cared about so I’m happy with it.

"Got it set up really fast"
Uh, I had it running on my laptop in about 5 minutes. There weren’t any confusing steps or anything, it just worked the first time

"Got my refund without any hassle"
I asked for a refund one time and got my money back quickly. It was simple and I did not have to go back and forth with anyone.

"I feel a lot better browsing with it on"
I got CyberGhost mostly because I started thinking way too much about how much of my browsing is just kind of out there, especially when I’m on random Wi-Fi, and yeah, I wanted something that made me feel a little less exposed.
So far it’s been easy, which I appreciate because I really don’t want to mess with a million settings just to feel safer online. It connects fast, I turn it on, forget about it, and then I’m not sitting there wondering if my IP is just floating around for anyone to grab.
I mostly use it when I’m on public Wi-Fi at coffee shops or hotels and stuff like that, and it just gives me some peace of mind. Nothing super dramatic to report, it just does what I need it to do without being annoying, and that’s kind of exactly what I wanted.

"Easy enough for everyday use"
I’ve had a easy time using CyberGhost overall. I’m not super techy, but the app is straightforward and I can usually get connected within a few seconds. Switching servers isn’t a hassle either. The only reason I’d knock it down to 4 stars is that every now and then it takes longer to open or connect, though it always seems to happen when I’m already in a rush, so maybe it’s just bad timing. For normal day-to-day use, it’s been solid and not confusing

"Decent server list, but the gaps stand out"
CyberGhost does have a large server list, and if you’re mostly connecting to the usual places like the US, UK, or Germany, it generally works fine. I didn’t have too many problems with those, at least on normal days.
What bothered me more was how uneven the coverage felt once I needed anything outside the obvious locations. Some countries barely had any options, and a few places I actually wanted were either missing or noticeably slow. Even picking the “closest” server didn’t always feel that close in practice.
It’s not terrible, and I can see it being fine for basic everyday use. But I kept noticing the weak spots more than the good parts, so I came away feeling like the network looks better on paper than it actually feels to use.
"Solid security, setup took a minute"
The kill switch and leak protection worked fine for me. The settings were a bit confusing at first, but I got through it.

"Decent for unblocking, but frustrating at times"
CyberGhost worked for me sometimes, but it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. A few Netflix regions opened up just fine, which was exciting, but others kept catching the VPN and blocking me, which got frustrating. The speeds were usually decent, so that part didn’t bother me much. I just got tired of constantly switching servers and hoping one would finally work. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not amazing either. I think 3 stars is fair.

"I mostly got CyberGhost for torrenting, and I..."
I mostly got CyberGhost for torrenting, and I have to admit it’s been decent. The torrent-friendly servers are easy enough to find, speeds haven’t taken a big hit, and I haven’t had issues with random disconnects. I did have one question for support, and they got back to me quicker than I expected. I wasn’t sure I’d stick with it at first, but so far, yeah, it’s doing the job

"Worth it if you commit long term"
CyberGhost has been decent for the price, but honestly... it only really feels worth it if you go for one of the longer plans. The monthly cost seems a bit high for what you actually get.
Most days it works fine and I haven’t had any major issues, but I wouldn’t call it an amazing deal either. It’s not bad, not great... just kind of okay value overall...

"Surprisingly, it just keeps working"
I’ve been using this app every day, i keep expecting it to glitch or freeze at some point, but it hasn’t happened yet. No crashes, no weird issues so far. I guess I have to admit it’s solid.

"No-logs promise seems legit, but support felt dismissive"
The no-logs claim does feel honest to me, and the app itself works fine for everyday use. I just wish I felt a bit more heard when I had questions, because the response came off kind of dismissive.

"Finally, a VPN That Keeps Up With All Our Devices"
I signed up for CyberGhost after getting tired of juggling between my laptop, phone, and tablet and wondering which one would get disconnected next. The first night I used it, I had it running on my laptop while checking something on my phone, and then later I turned on my tablet too. Nothing dropped, no annoying kick-offs, it just kept working. Then my wife started using it on her phone as well, and I half expected things to slow down or get messy, but it handled that fine too. Speeds have been solid for what we need, and it’s been a smooth experience so far...

"Streaming was totally fine for me"
the streaming worked fine for me, I didn’t have any buffering or random pauses or anything annoying like that, it just played smoothly the whole time and I was happy with it.
